This class made me sure that I want to learn design and find the department I want to study in the future. This class is mainly about learning how to fill in color. During the class, we use the app to decide what color we want to use. In the class, I asked my friend’s opinion. I asked her what she thought I could improve. she thought I should draw out the cloth material. I also remembered the last time the teacher gave me the feedback and said, “My The graphics haven’t changed a lot. After I heard those feedback, I thought about it and I want to improve it. I want to try to use oil pastel to make some texture, and then make some changes to the pattern, because my artist uses oil paint to paint, and the brushstrokes are heavy brushstrokes. Thus, I think it’s very suitable for drawing with oil pastel. However, I also used oil pastel to paint in artist research. I think the effect is good, so I use it in my clothes. I can see these colors in my garments. The pattern was inspired, so the coloring went smoothly during class. On the way to paint, the teacher came next to me and looked at my drawing. The teacher knew what was wrong with my drawing. The teacher said that the proportion of my model is very similar to the younger child, and the teacher showed me how to draw the correct proportion. I think that after correcting the proportion, I knew what went wrong with my problem and my garments become better. The teacher not only gave me suggestions on the work but also suggested pathways. The teacher asked me which department I wanted to go to. I told the teacher that I wanted to study textiles, but I didn’t know which department to go to. Consequently, the teacher looked at my work and told me that he thought my work was suitable for making 3D things. Departments like embroidery and knitting are suitable for people who like to make 3D things. These three hours passed very quickly. I have never felt that the class was so fast, and I learned a lot of things. I also have more goals for the department that I want to study in the future. This class made me more sure that I want to learn design.
